Data Processing Agreement
1. Purpose and Scope
This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") forms part of the Terms of Service between you ("Customer") and Mujaz Platform ("Processor") for the provision of newsletter platform services.
2. Definitions
Personal Data
Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Processing
Any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, storage, and transmission.
Data Subject
The identified or identifiable natural person to whom Personal Data relates.
3. Processing Details
Subject Matter
Newsletter creation, distribution, and subscriber management services.
Duration
For the duration of the service agreement.
Purpose
To provide newsletter platform services as specified in the Terms of Service.
Categories of Data
- Contact information (names, email addresses)
- Engagement data (opens, clicks, unsubscribes)
- Account and subscription preferences
4. Processor Obligations
- Process Personal Data only in accordance with documented instructions
- Implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures
- Assist with data subject rights requests
- Notify Customer of any data breaches without undue delay
- Delete or return Personal Data upon termination
5. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Access controls and authentication mechanisms
- Regular security assessments and monitoring
- Employee training on data protection
